Take Down Tackling (TDT) was founded by Steven “Coach Squeak” Brown, a veteran coach with over 30 years of experience transforming young athletes into skilled, confident players. Known for his passion and innovative approach, Coach Squeak has developed a proven tackling system that prioritizes player safety and performance, emphasizing “near hip, near shoulder” techniques to reduce injuries.
With a background in psychology and child development, Coach Squeak combines technical expertise with a deep understanding of athlete growth, making him a trusted mentor in the football community. Through TDT, he offers training, certification, and mentorship to teams, leagues, and coaches across Southern California and beyond, building a legacy of safer, smarter football.
